St Margaret's Youth Fellowship 1954
This photograph is a cutting from the County Express and shows some of St Margaret's Youth Fellowship
listening to a talk from a guest speaker. Helen Brady, who submitted this picture writes; 'The Fellowship met every friday evening in a classroom at Hasbury School. At least once a month a dance was held at Hasbury Conservative Club, Blackberry Lane, sometimes with a live Trio led by Alan Short who was also a long time leader of the Fellowship. Most of the members also attended church at Evensong on Sunday evenings, and afterwards all the young people went a walk up to Clent. Happy days!
The Youth Fellowship held a Reunion in the year 2000 and about 70 past members and friends attended travelling from far and wide. The evening was a great success and a smaller reunion was also held the next year.'
